About Us:

The Sex Talk Arabic (TST) is an intersectional feminist digital organisation tackling issues of
sexual violence in Arabic-speaking societies through advocacy, knowledge production and service
provision. TST supports individuals and communities with alternative and accessible knowledge and
resources that enable them to make informed decisions about their bodies, relationships, health, and
rights.

Job Purpose:

The Programme Coordinator will manage the implementation and coordination of
several key organisational projects. This role involves overseeing daily administrative tasks, facilitating
communication between teams, and supporting the organisation’s various initiatives. The Programme
Coordinator will also contribute to projects’ design and execution, ensuring that objectives are met,
timelines are adhered to, and results are accurately documented. The ideal candidate will be highly
detail-oriented, self-motivated, and possess strong leadership skills to guide teams and ensure
projects’ success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Coordination
o Coordinate and manage day-to-day activities of ongoing projects, ensuring they align with
organisational objectives and timelines.

2. Team Coordination
o Work closely with project teams to ensure the smooth execution of organisational
initiatives, overcome potential challenges, and ensure timely project delivery.

3. Administrative Oversight
o Oversee administrative tasks such as coordinating meetings, and ensuring efficient event
planning and execution.
o Ensure that the organisation’s policies and strategies are aligned with its objectives and
operational processes.

4. Communication & Collaboration
o Serve as the primary point of contact between internal teams and external partners,
ensuring effective communication and collaboration using relevant tools and platforms.

5. Information Management
o Maintain and organise organisational databases and drives, ensuring data accuracy,
confidentiality, and accessibility for project management and reporting purposes.

6. Financial Management
o Assist with budget tracking, expense reporting, and financial record-keeping,
collaborating with the finance team to ensure compliance with financial procedures and
policies.

7. Event Coordination
o Lead the planning and execution of organisational events, workshops, and conferences,
overseeing the process from inception to completion.

8. Grant & Proposal Support
o Collaborate with project teams in preparing grant applications and project proposals,
ensuring timely submission and compliance with donor requirements.

9. Reporting
o Lead the preparation and submission of quarterly, midterm, and annual reports, ensuring
accuracy in reporting on all organisational activities, progress, and objectives.

10. General Support
o Provide administrative support to team members as needed, including travel
arrangements, document preparation, and general operational assistance.

Qualifications and Experience:

• At least 3 years of proven experience in organisational coordination, administration, or
related roles.
• A degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (relevant certifications
are a plus).
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities, with excellent task prioritisation skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to take the initiative and work independently and efficiently in
remote settings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English, with the ability
to engage professionally with diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, culturally diverse
environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
• Knowledge of Gender and Sexual Health and Rights is an advantage.
